People on this sub needs to think bigger

I see people all the time talking about getting rich etc and then starting a fucking designing business. Like, dude. Why are you thinking so small, start bigger, think bigger, think scaling, think quantity and, you should probably not be the one doing the service you are offering. I know this will be downvoted because it is an unpopular opinion on this sub, but again… I feel bad for people thinking they will be rich by starting a designing business, or t shirt, lawn mowing etc. Think bigger. You are worth way more than what that guy is paying you for that design.

I agree with this.

That said, one of the wealthiest people I know started an HVAC company. Did it take him 20 years? Yeah. Will most businesses take that long to really take off? Yeah.

If you turn that residential lawn mowing company into a commercial landscaping business, you’ve got something going.

Which I think underscores your point, other than the “start bigger” one. I’m a big fan of starting small, being super niche, and delivering the service yourself while you work out the critical kinks.

As long as your business is scalable and you have the right mindset, it doesn’t matter if you start small.

most ppl in this sub are 16yos. and most ppl in this sub are not worth more than that guy is paying them b/c they not that smart. just the way it is.

I’d love to start a design business, or lawn mowing business.

As long as I never have to design or mow a lawn 🙂
